10.45 outside station - cross to take photographs of destination signs. Shot 1&2.
10.50 on train to Stalybridge due to set off 10.57.
10.57 we're off! sunny on leaving station.
11.07 Ashton-u-Lyne.
11.13 arrive Stalybridge.
11.15 exit station decide to go right.
11.21 call at shop. continue straight ahead. Shot 3,4&5. blue plaque: Plug Riots. Is sunny but internal light meter in camera not working.
11.26 bear right.
11.29 Shot 6&7 Victoria Bridge. continue straight ahead.
11.31 by canal. Shot 8,9&10.
11.35 Shot 11,12,13&14. Pigeons & Locks.
11.36 Break to get butties.
12.00 set off again. church bells. decide to cut through to left from canal. empty shopping street.
12.03 tripe & sandwich shop. Shot 15&16. continue and turn right, then left. Shot 17&18. left again. continue past Tesco towards hill.
12.13 turn right 'Park Street' labour club on right. walk into park. turn and walk back out.
12.20 cushion on floor. shot 19. continue. turn right. shot 20. turn left.
12.30 turn left. back where started.
12.40 Shot 21,22&23. bridge. turn left. decide not to take shot. turn back. head back to train station.
12.45 arrive Stalybridge train station. have half pint in buffet bar.
13.01 train to Manchester Victoria.
13.16 arrive Manchester Victoria.
13.30 on train to Wigan. Due to set off 13.33.
14.09 arrive Wigan Wallgate train station
